It takes a Village

I decided to take another Huge step in my life. I am going back to school! Boy would my dad be proud if he were living. He stressed to us the importance of education. He nor my mother went to college and he really wanted us to break that barrier. He always told me...Don't wanna be Like me but want to be Better than me. So now I am not only going back to school but I am going back to school to get a Degree and through my education I will now be able to help others acheive their education! How awesome is that!? Wow. I am so proud of myself and I am just overcome with Joy that God has given me vision and clarity in what I should do in life. This is my purpose driven life. So now that I am taking this step..I know that God will take 2...I am so excited and can not wait to go through this Journey. This will set an example for my children as well. Mom has a degree. Mom went to college. Wow... This is so awesome. And I am so grateful. Thank you God for holding my hand :-)

Will you just look at this? The Simplicity in a Nice ole' Southern Tomato Sandwich. This has to be one of the simplist yet tasty sandwich of them all. 2 Pieces of Bread A few slices of tomato heavily salted and peppered to perfection. Miracle Whip...Oh yeah...don't be shy about that. Now Enjoy! It's so Nostalgic, so refreshing...when I bite into a tomato sandwich...I'm 8 again...I'm flying my kite before a Thunderstorm.

Faith

Thank you Lord! Thank you Jesus! My brother went in for his MRI and they said it is not a Brain tumor nor was it a stroke. :-) How I love Good News. The Power of Prayer and Fasting is evident. I am just waiting for the results to come back just to say that the inflammation on his brain is just that. I am believing in Miracalous Healing. I have Faith!

Ricardo

Ricardo is my brother. We grew up together and he has always been protective of me...Even im my late 20's. I love him so much and always refer to him as my brother even though he still calls me his little sis...Even after a husband and 2 children. Yesterday Ricardo came over...my husband had a guys fishing day. And today my brother Ricardo had a seizure...His very first one...at the age of 33. And while I was typing...I stopped and answered the phone to find out that they found something on his brain...Right now I am saddened...but I have Faith...I know who my God is and I know that he performs miraculous things. If you just stumbled across this tonight, please pray for my brother Ricardo...He means the world to me. He is...My Big Brother.

Trees

So I have this fascination with trees.. In my little country Hometown Hartsville, SC, my family has a Huge Oak Tree with everyones home surrounding this tree. As a child I remember barbecues, family gatherings, the making of mud pies, cartwheels, catching bugs...All underneath this massive tree. I guess that's where my obsession began. My father who died of cancer when I was 11, also sat underneath this tree...Certain trees remind me of him...brings back memories of how things used to be...when times were innocent...when times were more relaxed....before responsibilites...before sickness....Childhood memories..So in honor of his memory...here is a tree....eery in it's on way...beautiful in another... but there it is....Standing...with not a care in the world :-)
